I love this lanyard. Room for everything I want to carry. Doesn't get tangles. comfortable and durable.

Everything is pretty good but I don't care for the tippet holder. Plastic hooks might last. I didn't care for the ring on the fly box so I used some nylon rope to tie it on. Otherwise comfortable and durable.

It feels cheap and is uncomfortable. It is way too long on me and when shortened up by pulling up the elastic, the excess sticks up behind my neck. The material to protect your neck from the elastic cord is also uncomfortable. The attachment points feel cheap and are hard to rearrange to the way I want them to hang. The best part of the whole setup is the fly box, but I wouldn’t wear a fly box around my neck.I went to return it but is was a few days past the 30 day return period. I hadn’t used it, but I also hadn’t had a chance to open it up to see how it would work until that time. Amazon reported to me that the seller had denied the return due to the date, so now I guess I have a donation for a fly club to raffle off.

This is a very nice lanyard! I read another commentator saying the fly-box is too small... say what?!? Fly-box is actually a nice size and will hold all you need for a day +. Water resistant sealed lid and spring loaded compartments are a nice welcome feature. Box measures 3" x 4" x 1.25". Zingers are plastic. Spring(s) seem as strong as any other low priced singers and they're certainly ideal for lightweight accessories (scissors, forceps, nippers, etc.). Enough clips for your gear, although I suppose you could add more if you feel the need.Elastic para-cord with a built-in safety release so you won't choke if you fall down or get hung up on something like a branch or other obstruction. Overall well built and just as good or better than other lanyards I've seen costing far more. Think these will make great stocking stuffers for Christmas or other occasions. This lanyard might seem pricey, but by the time you purchase all the components and take the time to put this all together, it would cost you easily half again what your paying now if not twice as much! I would buy again if lost or stolen. Very pleased with mine and suspect it will last a lifetime.Tight lines!!! ;-)

Got this for fishing out of my kayak. Have used several times and it works as I had hoped. I can quickly get the tool or lure that I need.

I lost my old lanyard. I went through many options to figure what to get and ended back with Dr. Slick. It is the best you can get. And I love the little fly box. I can carry what I need around my neck or around my waist.

Not sure if it is the product I love, or what I do with it. It is built pretty good, my only concern is the plastic tool reel's that seem fairly flimsy. I keep my tools light so it's not an issue, but a heavy multi-tool would likely unravel the reel pretty fast.

Last summer we paid for a professional fly fishing lesson. Our guide was wearing one of these for the day. It came in handy many times that day, so I had to get one for my husband for Christmas this year. He loves it and can't wait to try it out.
