It feels sturdy. No issue with the rain flow. No leakage. I got it on deal, which is very good price to beat.The nickel color should withstand weather.Make sure your package contain shut off valve. My first delivery was missing this item. I had to take replacement, which is the reason of giving one less star.

This is just what I needed to water my potted plants. The flow is generous but the water is broken into small gentle streams. I really like the shut of valve. It works better than others I've paid much more for. One thing I hadn't counted on is it doesn't work well with "pocket hoses". The hose kinks at the connector. It would work perfectly on a regular rubber hose with more substance to prevent kinks.

Purchased this rain wand for watering my flower garden since I noticed this was recommended by a few different gardening groups I follow. I don't understand the hype though. Product is OK but costs a bit more than others and needed some adjustments to prevent severe leaking. Make sure to have a supply of plumbers tape! It only has the rain shower spray when I have the water volume turned up high. I stopped using this one finally and picked up a different water wand (melnor) from a big box store that works SO SO SO much better and costs a bit less too. At least now I know...

See, functionally all three components should be separate so this is perfect. If the valve breaks you can replace it! The Dramm quick grip ones leak badly after just some usage, then you have to replace the whole thing!

Seems like a good quality tool, but water only dribbled out of it for us. I assume we just don't have the required water pressure for it to work properly. Disappointed :(

Leaked a lot despite gasket seated properly. Felt too lightweight to be quality. Overall very disappointed with this purchase.

I own these wands in a few sizes - my favorite is the 36" for general gardening use. I suggest pairing it up with the Dramm 22731 750Pl 8 GPM Plastic Water Breaker Nozzle, and replacing the horribly-cheap plastic shutoff with a Dahl 121-04-04F brass straight ball valve (available at most local hardware stores) - this is how I have all my watering wands set up, and they'll probably outlast me.

This works great! Love the pad on the grip area - very easy on the hands (I have arthritus) and the selection of water streams is nice. Will be ordering another one for my second hose. Would recommend.

I purchased this item because it is made in America and am tired of buying cheap imported products that fall apart. This Wand does not leak at the hose connections and does a great job of watering my plants and trees. I strongly recommend this over any of the cheaply maade imported junk..............
