EPOMAKER Sea Salt Silent 35-60gKailh Box Deep-Sea Silent PRO 45g ★Kailh MX Midnight PRO 40gYushakobo Fairy Silent Linear Switch 35g

I just got these today and installed them, then did a couple typing tests. I'm a little slower because I'm getting used to the switches, but I really really like them.Smooth actuation, good spring-back, comfortable and crisp typing for a silent. I don't feel any mushiness in my keypresses.Makes for a whisper silent typing experience. If I lived with others, I would feel very comfortable getting up early and typing a novel or writing emails or whatever that's typing intensive. It won't wake anyone up in the same house, even the same room, I would think.I've not tried them for any gaming, but I figure they'd be fine for that too. I don't see any delay when I press the keys down.Another thing: the RGB works really well with these. I was using Epomaker Bluebirds in this board before, and the RGB was being colored by the switches, so having a cleaner lighting is very nice.I run the Durock Silent Tactile Shrimps in my work board, and these are almost better? I don't know, but I know I like both switches. They feel slightly mushier than these do.

Tried loads of silent tactile switches to emulate my clicky board, and these are the ones. No mushiness whatsoever, strong tactility, and whisper quiet. No impact to my typing speed when coming from clickies.I should mention that I found a bit loud for specifically the big keys (tab, ctrl, shift, space, enter), so I ended up swapping those modifier switches out for the GAMAKAY Pegasus switches, and now the board is truly silent everywhere while still retaining the clicky tactility.

These switches are excellent. Very sturdy, smooth operation, but pleasantly tactile and without that rubbery squish on the bottom out you can get from other silent switches. These aren't the most silent switch out there, but they are whisper quiet. No clicky clack or ping or anything, just a gentle shushing like a breeze outside your window. Your fingers brushing the tops of the keycaps will likely make more sound than the switches themselves. Then again, I got these cheap crappy keycaps with a weird texture on the surface, so that's my own bad. Also love that they come in packs other than 35... I got the full 108 which was the perfect size for my new keychron v6.

I like tactile switches. I also wake up 90 minutes before my partner and type while drinking unhealthy amounts of coffee and they are a light sleeper. So, I wanted a tactile switch that is relatively quiet. These are on my short list of favorite "silent" tactile switches (along with Kailh Box Silent Brown and Gamakay Pegasus). They are quiet, with a modest tactile bump that starts very close to the top. The ones I have aren't scratchy, and have relatively low amounts of stem wobble. Typing on these feels the way I imagine popping bubble wrap with every keypress should feel. The Good:- Quiet, but not too quiet.- Much less scratchiness than other "brown" switches.- Consistent feeling tactile bump. The Meh:- Moderate tactility that begins very near the top of the keypress.

I put these switches in a Lemokey L3 and it’s very quiet. They are good quality and have the right amount of resistance.

These have a nice tactile feel, perhaps closer to the middle ground represented by browns. This could also be a part of the box construction of the stem, which contributes to the slightly ore quiet aspect of them and prevents some wobble.

The Deep Sea Whale switches are perfect for me because I work in an office setting that requires a quieter keyboard but still need a tactile bump to help with typing accuracy. The bump is quite pronounced (easily more than MX Browns) while anecdotally sounding about as quiet as typing on a membrane keyboard. The sound dampening does mute the "clicky" feel of the tactile bump, but if you mainly need the bump for accuracy and don't mind a lack of sharpness to typing, then these are exactly what you need for quieter settings.
