It has become very difficult to determine which socks are the best for me. A "name" brand no longer means much since all socks are made overseas. I knew 6 pairs of socks for $14.95 would not be socks that would last or feel good on my feet. I decided to buy one pair of socks to see if they were any good before buying a multi-pair pack. I bought this pair of Forony dress socks as a test.They passed the test & exceeded my expectations. They were comfortable & thick - long enough to cover most of my calf, but not too tight on my leg. Beautifully made & certainly long-lasting, I was more than pleased with these socks. I highly recommend them... if you can figure out which Forony sock is which Forony sock.Their descriptions of their socks are incomplete & don't help you decide which socks to buy. They have a "thick" dress sock & a "thin" dress sock, but it's almost impossible to tell one from the other. They also have a very short "crew" dress sock (both thick & thin) & the longer "mid-calf" dress sock (both thick & thin). I know this because when I ordered the 6 pack of this sock, I didn't receive a 6 pack of this sock - I received the very short crew-length, thin sock. They were returned.I then re-ordered a 6 pack of socks - now aware of the shorter, thinner version that was out there. I studied & studied the descriptions to discern the thick from the thin as well as the crew from the mid-calf. But there was nothing I could find in their descriptions that told me one sock from another. I noticed that the display pictures for the socks seemed to indicate that some were longer than others. I ordered the socks that seemed to be longer in the picture while hoping to get the thicker version.I made the right choice on the length, but I received the thin socks. Because the thin socks appeared to be good quality & they were the correct length, I kept them. But I'm truly frustrated by the buying experience.HELP ME OUT, FORONY! I want the thicker sock with the longer length. Please tell me which socks to order! I love your socks, but I'm not able to order the ones I want. I'm just ordering & returning from now on until I get the right socks.

I needed a pair of purple socks to go with a golf shirt I was gifting my son. These were perfect, and seemed to be great quality as well! He loved them!

While the pattern is fun and the material quite thick, the actual opening at the top has almost no give, and I literally could not pass my size 12 foot through the neck of the sock, even though I bought the 10-13 size. Be warned.

These socks are just the right thickness for year round wear. They are taller than a traditional crew sock,and at mid-calf are shorter than a full calf dress sock.The fabric is a bit thicker than many "dress" socks, which adds to their versatility. And the elasticity is very good-they don't droop.Their current price makes them an excellent buy, especially in a single color. Everyone loses socks and when there are many of one type and color, there is always a spare.
