Dress Up America Newsboy Cap is a well made cap done by a costume company. It looks like it was just purchased in a high end haberdashery right off The square in London. The color chosen for this review was the grey with square checkered tweed appearance. This is a very trendy look this year and it is a real bargain for the price. It looks to be a high end fabric although is made from a double skinned, foam core, 100% polyester material. It is very light weight and the seams and shaping is very well done.The fit is tight. The description tag in the cap lists that is "One size for most" . Well it could have been a little larger for my 7-5/8" head. I can get it on but it is so tight it is liable to give me a headache in time unless it breaks in looser. I hope it does since I like the look of this cap.

We are just "meh" on this Checkered Grey Newsboy Hat from Dress Up America. My husband is a size 7/14 hat, and this is tight on him. I can wear it instead, but agree it's a tight fit and not that comfortable for larger adult heads. It's a decent quality, but note that it's 100% polyester so not breathable for summer. The outside of the hat LOOKS decent, but the material is a weird foam very similar to neoprene (like a scuba suit). So this is definitely not a great quality, but I guess the flip side is that it was by far the cheapest in price (but is reflected in quality).If you really have your heart set on a decent newsboy hat, this probably isn't for you - especially if you have an adult size head. It's a tight fit and honestly looks like it's made of neoprene so not really breathable.

I couldn't decide whether to give this hat 2 or 3 stars. Even though it's a decent looking hat, it's not made great. It has foam padding that will absorb sweat and you can't wash it! Per my husband, he said it's not a true Newsboy Hat - a true Newsboy Hat has a snap at the bill and can be pulled back. Even though it looks nice on, it won't fit everyone. It only comes in one size - One size fits most. You are guessing whether it will fit or not. It says it's designed for all day wear - for both warm and cool weather. For the price, it is a nice-looking hat. I like the color that I chose.

The first thing I did when I got home and saw my new hat came was put it on. I didn't even make it inside. I have a large head, I'm usually 4 snaps down on Snap backs, I don't know my actual size. This hat fits great, but is on the boarder. If my head were any bigger it would be a tight fit, headache inducing. But if it fits me, chances are it will fit you. And it will fit someone with a smaller head than mine by a bit great. I'd say if you have your snaps lined up to 4 in is probably the sweet spot. The shape of the hat definitely compliments your head, as you can see there's no weird spots that stick out. It's a great quality hat, the stitching and fabric are nice, and it isn't extremely heavy so you could wear it on a nice spring day, but it would be nice in a cooler day too. And there are so many things you can pair it with, it's definitely got value for the money you spend. I'm very glad I got it, it's comfortable and looks great!

This Cabbie Newsboy Style Flat Cap is just what my husband had been looking for to wear when he is either casually dressed or on those occasion where he is wearing one of his dress suits, but does not want to wear the hat he usually wears with a dress suit.The sizing was listed as One Size Fits Most and he usually wears a size XL in hats/caps, but this One Size Fits Most fit him perfectly. It was not loose at all, nor did it slip around on his head. It was comfortable, lightweight, and yet because it is made of a good quality blend of materials and designed well, it will be warm in the winter as well as cool in warmer weather.The hat/cap is super stylish and it really completed the look as he tried it on while wearing one of his more casual but dressy walking suits.This hat/cap was a real value find for me and I easily rate it a 5 out of 5.

I recently got this classic flat cap and found it to be a decent cap however it lacks adjustments. The cap has a timeless design that pairs well with both casual and business casual attire, making it versatile for various occasions. The lightweight fabric is comfortable for extended wear, however the fabric is not good during rainy conditions. The cap's structure maintains its shape, providing a polished look without appearing too rigid. The "one-size-fits-most" design is the biggest detriment. It is either too tight or too loose, fitting few people well. Most of this style caps have adjustment straps so the fit can be just right.Bottom Line: This flat cap is a budget-friendly option but it has several drawbacks. Its fit is not adjustable, so if it does not fit, there is no recourse. The fabric is also not good for rainy weather. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this cap, despite its good looks.
