Took it out for the first time a couple days ago, I'm very impressed, it worked perfectly,.Great quality, no cheap materials., I don't like using my trolling motor, I use the wind as my trolling motor, and my new drift sock are my brakes. I highly recommend it 👌 👍

Bought this a while ago and tucked it away as a gift for my husband. We finally got a chance to use it a few days ago while fishing in our 14.5 foot canoe. It worked like a charm! So easy to use an allowed us to fish longer without one of us having to paddle us back because of drifting too fast.

Strap is way too long for 17’ angler boat and it’s not adjustable so I have to wind it around the cleat. It looks well built and works well otherwise.

I have a 17.5 ft deep v bass tracker with a 115 merc. I troll between 2.5 and 3 mph. With the sock it brings me down to 1.5 mph. Is sturdy I have used several times and see no wear on it yet. The only con I see is that the tether line tends to twist a little bit but the sock still stays open.

I let this out behind my boat to test it, then pulled the orange recovery strap which immediately broke. Inspecting the rest of the sea anchor, the stitching is very troubling. I would not trust this in an emergency.
