This would have been great if the hand piece was half the length.After giving a 3 star review the seller offered me a refund, but sense I was rating my personal experience from having little hands and sensitive joints and didn't mean to make the shaft look bad,just my own experience and that for me it would have been easiest with shorter length I didn't accept refund, and I'm changing this to 5 stars. The shaft is sturdy and would be great for normal hands. I didn't realize my review gave the wrong impression. My experience was the fault of my physical condition, not the design quality! Seller, thank you for the refund offer, that was generous but it wasn't your product that was the underlying issue. Thank you for your generosity though. I gave 5 starts because you deserve it for trying to make sure people are happy. I wasn't expecting that. I was actually short on Money too, but I knew it would be wrong to accept, it's like I was tested in that moment while being shown a very considerate seller who truly cares!

This flex shaft rotary tool attachment has made it so much easier for me to use my Dremel. I find that the size makes it easier to hold and make precise strokes rather than holding the Dremel itself. It feels sturdy and well made and I think it will last.

I have a Dremel 4000. My original flex shaft broke, and spending ~$30 for a genuine Dremel one seems pretty steep... Especially considering I bought my entire Dremel set for around $45 a long time ago during a Black Friday sale. This knockoff is about half the price, but given that I don't use my Dremel that often, it's a good deal for me. I did notice that the original Dremel flex shaft has a button I can press at the end of the shaft to hold the spinning wire in place while I tighten/remove attachments. this one included a small metal hex-wrench-like device to push in or that purpose. Take caution because it's definitely less convenient for those that use their Dremel more often than I do.

If you use it at a a sharp angle it will get very warm quickly. If used straightish it will get warm after an hour of use. It does work well and holds the parts very tight.

Didn't notice that it didn't come with the driver cap that goes on the Dremel, Just assumed that this came with it. Useless to me until I buy the driver cap from someone else.Cant tell how well it works yet!Revising review 10/23/20 because I went ahead and bought the Dremel driver cap. Product still doesn't work because the square end on the inner flex shaft is too small and turns inside the driver cap. It will not drive the chuck to do work. I then replaced the inner shaft with a shaft made for a Dremel flex shaft and now it works. okay.I do not recommend this product.You are better off just buying the name brand flex shaft plus that has a better shaft lock also.
