Stripped the hole on a shotgun bead. Needed to go larger so I bought this and a matching bead! Worked great. Threaded it without any issues and super fast.

This product is extremely poor. Cheap. Brittle. It cannot even clean out a an already tapped hole, let alone drill through for the entire process of tapping. This 15 dollar part has now snapped in a hole. And will cost hundreds of dollars to remove! If... If it can even be removed. Since they cannot be simply drilled out. Or spun out. Absolutely terrible product!

I use this tap for drilling and mounting certain scopes on particular rifles. So far this tap has served me well and shows no fatigue after uses of 6 drilled and tapped holes in steel. Nothing worse than a broken tap! Don't be Cheap, buy a new one for each use, save the used ones for chasing existing threads. Been there, done that, lots of profanity!

I used this little, hard to find tap to mount a peep sight on my cz 527.Worked just fine in the steel received without breaking.Like any small tap, work slowly.
