I had a very old Brown and Sharpe 2" micrometer that had been in my tool box and not used a long time. Regrettably, I should have had it oiled better it got some rust and did not turn as well as it should have. I disassembled it and used this tap to run the threads. It worked fantastic. The old mic it working perfectly. It was my Grandpas so I am very happy this was fixable.
