Last summer, I took on a massive DIY project building a custom wooden shed for my backyard, which required drilling hundreds of holes into pressure-treated lumber, metal brackets, and composite decking. My drill bits dulled rapidly, and I calculated I’d need to buy at least three more bits which is a cost,plus I already had three sets of partially dull bits. Realizing the savings from restoring them would offset the sharpener’s cost, I justified the purchase much like my other "cool tools."After receiving this sharpener, I spent minutes reading the manual and quickly sharpened a 3/16" bit.it wasn’t perfectly smooth, but it cut like new. Now I touch up bits before they dull, sharpening a 3/16" bit in under 30 seconds once angles match the fixed 118° setting. Some bits needed extra grinding to adjust angles, but it’s now effortless. The diamond wheel stays cool and durable, encased in a rugged nylon shell that’s lightweight enough for on-site jobs..For long-term savings and convenience, it’s a game-changer—even if I just occasionally use my drill.

Better than my old manual sharpener.it saves time, and the diamond wheel keeps its edge. Used it on HSS and carbide bits both came out sharp. Only wish the grinding slot was slightly wider for larger bits.

Works great for DIY projects. Sharpened my 3/8" wood drill bits perfectly. The stable base prevents slipping, and the clear instructions made setup easy. Noticed my bits last 2-3x longer between sharpenings now.

The product seems of low quality and does not appear to really work very well. I certainly wouldn’t buy this knowing what I know now.
