honey is too thick for this dispenser. Might be better for oils.

This is way prettier than the plastic tub i had for honey. lolThe dispenser is glass, but the little stand is plastic. Works fantastic and very clean to use (as compared to dipping a spoon in a big jar).HOWEVER, you need to learn from my mistake and make sure you leave the dispenser sitting in the stand when you remove the handle to fill it. I didn't and failed to realize that without the cap, there is no stopper on this, so honey will literally just pour out the bottom while your adding it in. Setting it on the stand prevents this as there is a little stopper in it. Lesson definitely learned. lol

I was excited to try this honey dispenser because the one I'm using right now is messy to use.I like the glass bottle but I would of liked if the base was also glass instead of plastic.It's easy to use and it mostly works well under perfect condition.At first I thought it didn't work or was defective because the honey dribbled out really slowly it takes forever to dispense and would sometimes jams. The issue turned out to be the thickness of the honey, I use high quality honey which is thicker, if you use a syrup of a diluted more liquid honey it will work just fine, but for good thick honey it doesn't work very well.The main reason I got this was for honey so I'm disappointing that it doesn't work.
