Good quality, sturdier metal not as likely to bend as cheaper models. Middle slot is perfect size for marking pencil or pen. Love the point turner- width is perfect for more narrow items. Accurate. I have many Dritz sewing tools. This one is 7” long and much more versatile than the other 6” ones.

I was buying stuff for a sewing basket for my granddaughter when I saw this, and I had to have one for myself. Love the pointy end - it's great for turning collars, pockets, etc. I already had two seam gauges, but they were about 50 years old, so I was due a new one. It's such an improvement over the old ones!

this is a great little item. I find uses for it all over the house. it's smaller than a retractable tape measure so not so cumbersome for small jobs. the sliding guide helps keep your measurement consistent

a typical seam gauge like others I've had before. Aluminum body and plastic slide. It's neither good nor bad, not really remarkable and does the same job as other seam gauges.

This is a pretty standard measuring tool that every serious seamstress should have in their kit. I used one just like it for 15+ years, and am just now replacing it after the measurement lines have been worn off from constant use. Checked against other rulers and the measurements are accurate. Slide works smoothly and stays in place well. These little Dritz rulers are a great quality tool!

Great for doll clothes in measuring and marking seams and hems. Gently use the point turner for collars, etc. Works great for my sewing projects.

This is also a point turner, which can save you money. “0” is the first line before 1 not the top of the triangle, for people like me who get confused easily. You can do seams with your iron, just beware of the heated metal. The ruler has some unintended semi- sharp edges, so be careful and keep it away from the kids.

The measurements are accurate and the turning point useful, but the metal is low quality and bends too easily. Get a nicer version if you can afford it! I think Dritz even makes a steel (rather than aluminum) one in black.
