It is machine washable and dryable in temperatures up to 200 degrees fahrenheit. Safe with chlorine bleach and salt water. Insert into casings or stitch directly to wrong side of fabric. Available in black color. Measures 1/4-Inch in size.

Although I purchased this elastic for a rather odd and unusual problem I was encountering with a pair of headphones, I am also someone who sews clothing for myself and others. In that respect, this is a good functional sort of garment elastic that I would not hesitate to use in my garments; Dritz has been around forever, and their products have always been good quality. I have not seen any fading, and the casing around the elastic itself is holding firm despite my having to cut through it. I would have no problem recommending this item to someone who needs elastic for a garment or other small item.

Love these bands. I have very thick natural hair which I love !!! and some times it’s really hard to get my hair in a bun or however I choose . My hair takes up alot of my time to use a scrunch to style due to texture and fullness . With these bands I have more range and flexibility allowing me to style my hair just by wrapping it around hair. We definitely order again

Good stuff! Just what I wanted. =). I use it to replace shoelaces on my low-top sneakers. It enables me to take off and put on my shoes with out having tie or untie them. Sure.... I could just loosen regular laces, but this way they are tight, and the 'look' tightly tied.

...so basically I don't know what I'm doing. When I saw the word braided in the description somehow in my mind I thought it was cord. But of course it's flat as not really what I wanted. But I think I can make it work, I'm using it for a drawstring for pants.I just thought I would mention it in case some other guy decides to mosey through here thinking they're going to get elastic cord.Update: If you are looking for round elastic cord search Amazon for bungee or stretch cord. This is what I wanted

The pajama pants hold up well. When I pull it from both ends, the resistance is weak, and I barely feel the pulling back motion. So I don't expect it to last for several years.There was a time when you can find elastic that you can count on for years. Times have changed. For recent years, this seems pretty good.Came promptly and safely packed. :)
