Adorable, cheerful colors and retro flare; with a sturdy handle and closing latch. Basic size holds essentials and will be nice for sewing outside on the patio in Spring and Summer. Unfortunately, the inset organizing tray arrived with an obvious crack in one of the corners which I have to reinforce somehow before it breaks. Prym/Dritz may wish to review the materials used in mfg to avoid brittle plastic. The bright yellow tomato pin cushion is fun, but perhaps too large for the scale of the box.

When my sewing basket arrived, I was impressed with it is some ways and a little disappointed in others.The basket is cute and seems durable. It does have a tray for smalls. But on the whole, the basket is smaller than expected. I did pay attention to the measurements, but still anticipated something a little more useful. The pin cushion is cute, but the large size makes it a little impractical. I'll use the basket because I need it, but I will probably need to augment it with another item to hold the things I need for projects.

The first one I received had a broken tray, but the replacement looks good. This is a very cute, medium-sized sewing basket. The exterior fabric is definitely not white, it’s more of a yellowed antique-type off-white, but it works well for this vintagey design. The size is just right for my needs. I have an entire sewing room, but I needed a small sewing basket for my bedroom for some hand sewing needles and thread and the spare buttons etc that come with new pants. Just a little basket for on-the-spot mending is what I was looking for and this fits the bill. I could have gone even smaller as I’m replacing a watch tin I was using which had just a few spools of full-sized thread, a pack of sewing needles, and embroidery scissors, but I like being able to put stray buttons and things in here too, plus it’s really cute. It doesn’t come with any sewing supplies, but the ones these things come with are usually junky, and I have my own already anyway. It is pricey, but it’s very cute. The quality of the basket seems quite good, though the insert is a little on the chintzy side. I have a large sewing basket from the same brand (which was half the price at a different World-wide store) and the insert in it is a thicker opaque plastic that is much nicer, but since I won’t be using this one often, it should work fine and is worth the trade off to have a pretty little basket on display in my bedroom. I would say the basket itself is 5 stars but the lower quality of the tray and the price brings it down to 4.

It’s huge! Fits everything from my cookie tin sewing box and some.The only issue is the background isn’t white, it’s not even off white, it looks like it has yellowed because the edges are white. The colors of the flowers are also not vibrant at all. The handle and feet and very vibrant though.
