This motor came to me and it fit exactly as it said there was no problem with it. One thing I did find out my sensor that runs where you push the button and stuff was low on power. I went into the box the power that goes up to. It had an 18 V battery connected that and that thing goes up fast Works out

Le moteur fonctionne très bien, il a fallu changer l'attachement car le model de mon auvent est le PRO ,mais il n'est plus disponible . J'ai du prendre l'attachement de l' ancien moteur pour qu'il puisse fonctionner avec le nouveau.

Dometic does a good job of product support, considering that my RV awning is 11yrs old. They provided explicit instructions on how to pin the roller spring, (preventing a total FU), and how to tie back the support arms that are strut tensioned. The one thing they do try is to farm you off to a local RV dealer for expensive but qualified repairs. I really liked that the supplier of this Dometic product provided good instructions, replacement pop rivets and it was all well packaged on time delivery!

Had to call Dometic to ensure it was the right part for the awning as the manual doesn’t give you the full model number and the trailer was 3 hours away. Watched a couple YouTube videos on how to replace it and had it done in less than an hour. Was good to have two people but probably could have done it alone if I’d had to. Works great so far.

This item said 2 day delivery then went to 8 days when order was placed. I excepted the delivery until it never shipped for 4 days. I tried to cancel on July 1st on 3rd day & was told it couldn't be canceled, even though it never shipped till the next day. It came in 1 day early I will give you that. It came with no instructions as description said. Been in 4 hrs & seems to work. My husband watched a video to get installed. So far so good will leave more as we use it.

Dislike: not exact cosmetic fit BUT when local dealer had the cosmo for a $300.00 UPCHARGE, i said no. This motor WILL FIT and works well! Even with a slight tug-oh-war of bolts re-aligning (removed to allow flexing) i replaced whole awning motor SOLO in 2.5 hours on my LilGiant ladder!Dislike #2 - provided pop rivets didn’t exactly POP POP POP - bought me a popRivet drill-gun and job done!!

Très satisfait de l'achat et l'installation a très bien été, par contre j'ai reçu un message erroné concernant la livraison soit disant par UPS avec un # de tracking, après vérification du # de tracking chez UPS et après avoir parlé avec une personne de UPS et de Amazon, j'ai constaté que mon adresse e-mail avait été hacké. Il faudrait que le site du ou des vendeurs soit plus sécuritaire.

This is an awning motor not a torsion assembly, obviously the title for item is incorrect. I ordered by the part number which is correct for the motor. Very pricey, but between the need and the shipping estimate I placed the order. Install was fairly easy. Works great, matched original fairly well. I have a 2012 Keystone Laredo w/ 19' power awning.

Got a quote from a local dealer, Amazon's price was better and was shipped in a couple of days. It took my wife and I about an hour to replace. It was handy to have an extra set of hands to help - didn't even have to remove the awning arms from the trailer, just rolled out the old motor a couple of turns (probably 1 foot from the side of the trailer) and then locked the spring end of the awning arm (THIS IS IMPORTANT AS IF NOT LOCKED, YOUR AWNING WILL SPRING OUT ON YOU AND CAUSE DAMAGE/PERSONAL INJURY!)While I drilled out the old rivets, she was on the other side of the ladder holding the awning and motor for stability. Once the rivets were drilled out, remove the bolts holding the motor and remove. Be careful to not lose the electrical wire down inside your awning arm. Then rivet the new motor on and away you go.

Seller knowledge on replacement part is 1 star ... they are clueless. Part they sent solved my problem 100% (5 star) but only a solution for the VERY handy persons ... We were stuck in a completely AWNING OUT situation, no youtube videos on that problem LOL. Ordered from seller based on Dometic roller. While waiting for the motor I kept digging and wondering why there are so many different part numbers for awning motors for the roller and got nervous . Dometic and the seller eventually said your MOTOR will not work and now to reorder I've run out of time. LONG story SHORT, the motor and drive are all the same. I had to knock out the pin from new HEAD and put OLD head back on the shaft. Had to cut black and red wire and splice because OLD hole was too small ... no biggy. Put it all back together again and it works perfect. OLD HEAD (same motor) $550 ... new head (same motor) $330 ... JUST SWAP HEADS.
