It fits perfectly; you do not need to upgrade any plastic parts for the Maxx. You will take out the small I.D. Bearing and you will not use the small screws that are in the package. Only thing I would ch age is the nut for inside the stick tires. They need to have the indents so it fits perfect. Had to clip the indents off inside the tire for this to fit perfectly.

Went to install and it won't fit in the hubs by the time I got around to it. It was an anniversary gift and obviously 2 long for us to return. $100 gone to sit in a box because the listing is bad stating wide maxxx and the photos it states xmaxx.

Good parts but the hex incuded does not fit standard Traxxas tire. There are grooves in original part that are not there in supplied aluminum part.
