Bought for my 03 crew cab s10. Bolts on great, the 4 rods connect perfectly. The 2 pin connector for the door lock actuator plugs in however, there’s another 4 pin connector that does not plug into this latch assembly. That 4 pin connector is for the anti theft and the over head interior lights that are supposed to come on when the door is opened. The latch will work, I’m not returning it, it’s already in. But if someone were to break in through that door the alarm won’t go off, and the dome light does not light up when that door is open. I’m okay with that. So it worked for me I only cared about the power door locks. If you want those 2 features look for another latch assembly.

I replaced the old latch that sprung and wouldn't operate. This is like the original and works just as well as the original. The price was reasonable and the quality very good. I would recommend this for a replacement to anyone that needs a new door latch.

We purchased one for the grandsons truck. When my husband started install he realized it had electronic for locks. So, he made the one work until he could order the proper part. Not sure which is which but it's good to confirm how it locks! It's an older truck so it never crossed his mind! We ordered another lock off Amazon and all is good.

I needed GM part# 15066142, but didn't want to pay $200. This alternative part will fit physically, but the electrical connectors are different, so I lost the functionality that came with them. It physically locks and holds the door closed, and that's good enough for me.Edit- My SUV was rejected for emissions due to the inability to connect to the ODB2 sensor. I think the lack of connection may be the reason the emissions station couldn't connect to the ODB2 system. Plugging the old latch was the first thing I tried and that seemed to work.
