Mirror tape causes distortion and objects are impaired

Good fit but the mirror and plastic housing seems to be to thin so when installed the mirror is distorted like a fun house mirror. Returned it.

Easy install, came with the required 3 metal clips. To remove, gently but firmly pull from the top or bottom, the clips will slide off. To reinstall, fit the 3 clips to the back of the new mirror, I moved the motor to a flat position (equal space all around housing), install the heater wires. Gently but firmly push the glass inward until the clips engage (you will hear a snap as the clips snap on). Push from the center only (if you push in from the sides, you run the risk of cracking your new mirror). Price was easy on wallet, quality part, prompt delivery. As usual youtube, was a great help. Total install time, 10 mins (included cleaning the new glass).

No instructions? 😢 Bit of insight and guidance e would have been nice. Also no two sides tape included to help mount. Instructions only time will tell.

While we did watch a YouTube video on installation, doing this myself was much better than taking it to a repair shop.
