I am confused how to use these driveway sensors and receiver. The package comes with 2 sensors and one receiver and it is called a driveway alarm. They are well made but when I read the instructions, it says 'Keep away from where water, wind and/or sunlight can get on the sensors or receiver.I don't know how I can have these in my driveway or anywhere outside for that matter because how would you keep them away from all those things? Even if I built a box around the sensors, that would limit their affectiveness and line of sight to detect anything and could still potentially get wet or be hit by wind.So I gave a 2 stars because although they seem well made, I can't use them as a driveway alarm or for any other useful purpose along those lines, that I can think of.

This door alert was perfect for our front door. When in the bathroom... I sometimes do not hear customers come in. The speaker receiver is plug in so no annoying batteries to replace often. The motion sensor battery life has lasted 2 weeks now. The sensor is very sensitive and puts out a very wide beam. I had to turn it almost 90 degrees left to avoid it alerting when people are just walking in the store by the door. Overall very pleased with the function of this door alert.

These sensors were easy to install and they work really well up. I live in a rural area and during the summer have to be careful about bears and raccoons getting into trash. These worked perfectly to scare away the bear and the range was enough that he didn't even get close to back deck. It worked as it was designed to work and I'm very happy with the result!

I ordered this wireless motion sensor alarm to use at work. I work at a rec. center and there have times where I'm working by myself and have to go to the back for something, and I came back to customers waiting at the front desk for me.I was hoping to set the sensor above the main entrance and the receiver in the back, or close enough to hear it, this way If I'm back there, I can run to the front right away when someone walks in.Unfortunately I didn't read the description well enough to know the receiver needs to be plugged into a wall outlet. I assumed since it had a connection for a USB on the side, you had the option to charge it or keep it plugged in (my mistake). The problem I ran into is our building is old, and does not have many power outlets. Of course there are none in the back or close to it. The few outlets we do have are all taken by computers and other office equipment. I could plug it in at the front desk, but that defeats the purpose.Other than the receiver issue, I also noticed that the brackets to hold the sensors have to be screwed into the wall. We have solid cinder blocks walls and I have to drill a hole before I can screw anything in. This is was a problem because I didn't have a drill bit small enough to make the correct size hole to screw the brackets in.I will say the sensors feel like they will break easily, their made of cheap feeling plastic. The receiver feels a little better quality, but the buttons and on/off switch on the side don't seem like they will hold up to much use.I'm going to give 3.5-4 stars and not blame the item for my mistake. I am taking a star for the build quality.

This was not as loud as I expected, and the range was much shorter than I expected
