Installed on an '88 GMC Suburban to fix a spark problem. Still would not start so had a retired mechanic over to troubleshoot. When the engine was cranked, it appeared to spark normally, but as soon as you left the key back to run, it began to spark wildly with no signal from the pickup coil. Removed it and put in a GM part - worked fine.

Part was good fitment wise, However, Full disclosures, started fine, idled fine, RPM dash gauge fine, idle timing fine, if you just wanted to start & (slowly) move in driveway &/or on your property fine, However if ya wanted to take on road safely - Heck No!, all other step on gas operation's of this part would NOT function &/or perform. I had to get another from my local Auto Parts Store; I even tried switching back to this 3-time's to be sure it was just that this part was defective, yappers - no power when accelerating, couldn't get out of it's own way Etc... but it did allow me to start vehicle & put it in garage, But that was All this cheap $ part was good for, instead of returning I kept incase the auto store part went bad, but that one's still going strong & powerful since March 31,2018

Terrible product out of China. Put it on the motor and engine ran terrible. Took it off and went to the auto parts store and bought one there. Came home put new one from the auto parts store on the motor and it ran fine
