Sizes are WAY off! Size Large for a "small dog" by description and measurements, should have fit my 12# dog (mixed breed, a little bigger than a chihuahua). It is large enough to fit a blue healer!! Coat quality is fine, but I'm having to exchange for a smaller size.

I have a little Chihuahua that weighs about 8 pounds. I live in Oklahoma and the winners can get pretty cold. This little insulated camo coat keeps him warm and it’s quick and easy to put on and take off. He loves it.

This coat is very cute and fits well. The back zipper is tons easier than a front fastener. It's nice and warm, too.My doggie and I are visiting family up north (we live in SoCalifornia) for Christmas. She still needs to go out, but is not used to the cold. This jacket is perfect.

I wouldn’t call this a winter jacket, it’s perfect for coastal wind and likely cold weather but “winter” snow? Not thick enough for that. I wanted this thickness as jack lives on the California coast so it’s perfectly suited for our wind and slight rain. Great underbelly coverage. Zippper got stuck and was easily unstuck without breaking. That surprised me considering the price. Wide neck for dogs who don’t like anything constricting that area. I rolled the neck piece down after it’s completely zipped up and it was cute and functional. It doesn’t stretch but with the zipper it’s not needed. I think it’s pretty true to size, jack is long and narrow, quite a hard fit, but this did well. Happy trails!

I have two rat terrier/chihuahua mixes one is 11 pounds the other is 9 I bought them both large and they fit great! The 11 pound dog fits perfect if he was any bigger it would be snug! I was surprised how warm the inside was after taking them off after a cold walk at night .. the material feels a little on the thin side but it retains heat well! I have used the d clip and it was pretty sturdy but if a squirrel came by I’m not sure id trust it! One of my dogs decided he didn’t want to move and tried to back out of his coat on the walk! He was able to get his head through and I grabbed him.. but I could see him getting out of it if he kept pulling! I ended up deciding to put there harnesses on over the coat and that works great!
