Perfect for holding pre tied dropper rigs and std flies, nymphs and streamers. This and a small standard box is all I carry fly fishing now!

This is a durable and well designed box. The magnetic closure does not come open in my bag and the leaf is perfect for storing droppers as well as smaller streamers.I use this box as my working/match-the-hatch box so I have rotated this box out many times. So far the slit foam seems to be holding up well. The slots are appropriately sized for #12-18 wet flies, dries and nymphs, but the dropper leaf is pretty rigid foam so I store a number of 4.0mm #8 jig streamers.It's worth adding that the slit foam holds tungsten bead nymphs well, but a tacky box is a better choice for storing large numbers of jig nymphs.If you're looking for a smallish working box that still holds a lot of flies, this box is a great choice. Also, it's made right here in the US-of-A so you can expect better quality control than the knock of, Chines versions that give the tandems a bad name.

I fish a double dropper and this allows me to remove it from the setup and wind it around the foam keeping it ready for the next change out. Since I have used this I have reduced the amount of times I have to rebuild the dropper rig.

I love these boxes I have 2 with 6 inserts that I have rigged for different streams and situation ni plan on getting in while fishing they come in very handy¡

If you don't like to carry a lot of stuff, this is the box to take. Flys plus pre-built nymph rigs. Perfect.
