Before ordering this item or giving it a negative review, be sure you RTFM (google it). Straight out of the box with the small mag adapter mounted, it works perfectly fine in my M18 (non CA model). How is this possible? I RTFM like you should always do. I noted which weapons it is meant to work with and which weapons it is not intended to work with. If yours doesn't fit, you must not get.Is it high priced for what it is and how it's made? Probably. But I know that dry firing will improve my shooting, so this is an investment in more than just a physical object. If I end up being able to nail a mouse in the tuchus at 100 meters, it will have been a remarkable phenomenal investment. (No, I don't actually believe I'll be able to make that shaot at that distance, but a boy can dream.)Just one last piece of advice (and this applies to many things in life) is RTFM.

Got it to pair with a mantis x but the mantis doesn't register it.

I have tried this device in a total of 4 different P320 grip modules. The concept of the DryFireMag seems great and the functionality is excellent - in the ONE grip module that it fits. The DryFireMag I received will not fit into the other three. The front-to-back dimension of the mag seems to be too long and the mag can only be inserted 1/2 to 2/3 of the way into the magazine well before it starts to bind and cannot be inserted further without considerable force, if at all. All my grip modules were purchased approximately 6-9 years ago, so perhaps the issue is limited to earlier grip modules, but buyers should be aware. Check the functionality in all of them upon receipt, especially if you have multiple P320 grip modules,

This product works great and mimics real trigger feel pretty well. I like that you can adjust it slightly to fine tune the feel. The click is loud enough that it triggers the Mantis X10 system perfectly for the regular modes when you set it to SIRT detection in the app. For the holster analysis function it doesn't seem to work and you need to rack the slide to get that detection to work properly unless I've missed a setting somewhere. Overall a great purchase, the negative review about it not doing anything or getting stuck in the gun is almost certainly because they didn't follow the instructions and use the supplied magazine spacer. If you put it too deep in the gun, it will not work and will get bound up. With the spacer in place, it works perfectly. Nice loud click, which is what you need for dry fire detection with Mantis or an SG shot timer.

Have had this for a month now and still don't know how I honestly feel. It's good and when using with my pistol and red dot you can actually see how much you move when pulling the trigger. So now I can work on my trigger pull. The only bad thing I have to say which is why I'm still not sure about the mag is how loud the little clicker inside the mag is. So it sort of mimics your trigger sound. When I'm gaming or watching TV I'm constantly dry firing but can't do it after the family goes to bed cause our bedrooms are next to my living room and all that clicking would definitely make it hard for them to sleep. That's my only real negative about the mag. Just sharing my experience to help educate others.

For warning if you are buying this to use with your mantis system it does not reset the striker. This means you’ll only get one use out of the laser. Then you’ll have to charge the weapon. Decent product if you don’t plan on running the mantis system. However, I personally don’t see the point. I returned mine for this reason.
