After installing this dryer lint catcher, I feel like my dryer requires less time to get clothes dry saving on the life of the machines heating element, making it a great value for the initial cost of $15! This was easy to install and it does a great job of catching lint after the machine's lint catcher, preventing the dryer duct work from becoming clogged, and making the dryer more efficient. I like that I do not have to run my machine as long to get clothes as dry. I do check this lint catch often and remove lots of lint, that I would not have otherwise been able to catch...for me this was a great buy and will pay for itself in making the machine more effective, highly recommend.

Great product and genius idea! The quality is typical of plastic, but easy to install. It is amazing how much lent gets out of the initial trap. This will help keep the pipe open and may better airflow!

Nice quality vent box. Well made, sturdy and easy to maintain. Much higher quality then plastic filter boxes. Can easily be nounted to wall or left on the floor. Can be used inline or at the end of a line depending on your vents roughing.Only important I would suggest would be to have a sealed door as well as a vented door so that in the winter yiu coukd exhaust warm moist air into the house and in the summer vent the warm mount air outside.

I did not like this at all. The lint trap did not work very well, the box feels brittle and it just did not work well for me at all. I did like how it came with fittings and such. But it is plastic and cheap. I do not recommend

This item is really well made and comes with everything you need for installation. I installed it and have been using it for a couple of weeks and it’s amazing how much lint I remove from it. I have a new dryer amd can’t believe how much lint bypasses the dryer’s lint trap. So glad I installed this!

Review for: Dryer Lint Trap, 4-inch Dryer Lint Catcher for Electric Clothes DryerI have a dryer vent that goes out my attic, through the roof. I'm definitely not familiar with that configuration, but I'm told that it's common. So, instead of cleaning out the roof vent again, I decided to get one of these little lint traps to save myself some time energy, and money. Works like a charm. Easy to install, and hopefully keeps me off the roof. Cost is pretty decent, I got the plastic one just to try it out and see if it worked before I invested in the metal one.As a Vine reviewer I try to provide good information. My scale:Most things will start at 4 stars.It gets that extra star only if it is outstanding.It loses stars for issues- bad sizing, poor quality.One star if is is not suitable for purpose or for gross misrepresentation.

As I have cleaned quite a few air duct for dryers, I'm all for additional lint trap/filters. If you can get the lint out before they get stuck in the duct or at the exit, that's an excellent device. It will prolong the period where you can run your dryers efficiently and potentially the life of your dryers too. Ultimately maybe everyone needs to have their air duct cleaned, especially these with vinyl louver vents. Quite easy to install. For the price, I'm not demanding premium quality.
