For third-party batteries, they come close to the EGO brand name batteries for run-time in my ST2110 snowblower. My only knock on them is that in the EGO dual-charger, they don't stop charging when full like the brand batteries do.

What a phenomenal find! I've bought two of these so far and have used them extensively on my EGo 56v mower. One battery lasts for 45 minutes when I'm cutting my yard when the grass is long and thick during the summer. I can charge these on my EGo battery charger too. I was worried these would be cheap and dangerous aftermarket batteries due to the low price, but they work fantastic.

Works better than original EGO which failed before 1st year of use. EGO 3yr warranty useless. Be aware, EGO charger will not sense this battery at full charge and will not shut off. You must remove battery to prevent overcharge when using with EGO stock charger.

When the 7.5 Amp battery on my Ego Mower failed after 2 1/2 years, I bought this 5 Amp replacement battery as an emergency backup. I tried it out today and cut 4000 sq ft before it was drained. That's pretty decent. The bigger, 7.5 Amp battery would cut about 6000 sq ft.By the way, the Ego replacement process was relatively easy. I answered a few questions and did a timed test-to-failure. It took about a month to get the new battery, but I expected that. Of course there's no warranty on the replacement battery.

This EGO equivalent has large capacity per charge, nice visual gauge on how much charge is left while in use, though I see that the latest EGO unit has the same feature now. Even better, a more reasonable priced replacement than what EGO charges. Despite the spec for this battery being equivalent to the same EGO 5.0Ah battery, this one seems run longer than the original from my experience and definitely takes longer to charge which is not an issue for me. You can use your existing EGO charger with no issues. Definitely excellent value for the money.

I just got it today and dropped it into the charger, came with 3 out of 5 bars. A few hours later I checked on it and it said 5 of 5 bars, fully charged, but the charger fan was still running and nothing felt hot, so I wouldn't leave this on the charger all the time if for no other reason than to save your charger fan. I popped it into my EGO 16' carbon fiber monster and did some trimming and edging, walkway, around the house, down by the road. Ran great until I ran out of trimmer string, still had 2 or 3 bars left, so I popped it into the 765 mph err cfm tornado starter, sorry about all the storms in the central USA, butterfly effect indeed! I blew off all the trimmings and edgings a few leaves, pine cones, and thumb sized rocks. No issues with the battery until right before it ran out of power I noticed the turbo button no longer worked when I pressed it. This was the 1st time I used the battery, they are supposed to work a little better after a few full cycles of charging and discharging. I'll try to remember to let you know if I have any issues, and if I do, how customer service handles them.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I received this item, the 5Ah BA2800 LiON battery from DSANKE. The battery came with a partial charge. I put it in my EGo OEM charger and it charged fine.However, I would like to confirm what another poster reported that this battery does not seem to interface properly with the charger. The charger continued to run the fan after the charge was complete.The running the fan part does not bother me, what concerns me is that perhaps the charger is not getting temperature information or other input from the battery, and would not shut down on a fault or over-temperature condition from the battery.This is my emergency backup battery anyway, so it won't get much use. I intend to watch it closely when I need to charge it and I recommend the same to other buyers.*** UPDATE: updating my earlier review and downgrading.It looks like the continuous fan issue is not a huge deal as the charger shuts down on its own after some time. I am giving credit to the charger, not the battery.After multiple uses, the battery life is definitely not comparable to my OEM 5.0Ah battery. The run time is probably even less than my 2.5Ah OEM battery. Therefore, I can no longer recommend this battery for use with an EGo lawnmower.
