After reading the very small user guide I powered it up and checked all the functionalities. Everything checked good until I checked the function generator. All outputs looked good and reasonably accurate. But when I switched to oscilloscope mode and tried to look at the function generator output what I saw surprised me. It was a square wave at 1000 Hz. In my analysis this is used for probe calibration. Then I realized the function generator of this oscilloscope stops working when the oscilloscope is selected and instead outputs a probe calibration square wave signal. That means this oscilloscope can not monitor the output of its own function generator. A possible problem is when using its function generator a separate oscilloscope is needed to see what’s going on. Remember that the function generator stops when the oscilloscope is selected. Conclusion: These two functions can not be used simultaneously. Otherwise I’m happy with me purchase. But this is just the first day . . .
