Remote works ok, the battery pack and the camera didn’t get along, shutter wouldn’t work not worth the effort

The camera couldn't find the new battery in the battery grip. It showed up in the settings on the camera but wouldn't display the battery information. Therefore, it was useless to me.

The grip and batteries work well with my Nikon D800. The IR remote, doesn't work. I bought it for the grip only and happy with that.
