This grip is great as the D5600 has a small body, giving you a firmer grip on the camera. The extra insert for AA batteries is also a nice feature.

I like this battery back because it gives me better grasp on the camera. Looks great, cool accessory remote shutter control. You need to remove the original battery compartment cover by twisting sideways and then you can store it in the compartment provided by this gribb. Screw the gribb in place like you will do on a tripod.

Cheap and flimsy. Made in China and appears to be resold under many labels. The remote trigger stopped working after a few uses.

I like battery packs it gives my camera a more solid feel in my large hands. This one however is not well balanced on my D5500, it only just remains upright with the 18-55mm lens. The design puts a lot of material on the rear of the pack and a little on the front, with the camera and lens on it makes it front heavy. The vertical position exposure button does not work, the IR control does not work. I have tried exchanging cables but no difference. My usual ML3 IR control does work. The AA battery pack is useful, but they seem to discharge rapidly.Overall impression so so. I would send it back but I live overseas.

The item is superior to all other grips. I love the slide out battery cartridge and the remote control.

I like being able to power my camera with AA batteries instead of proprietary rechargeable batteries. Since Nikon no longer makes cameras to work with AA batteries this product gives me that option should my other batteries die. This product appears well made, finish is a perfect match to Nikon's finish on the camera. Including a wireless remote was a plus, and the price was more reasonable than Nikon's and other aftermarket battery grips. My one concern is the grip makes the camera much bigger and does not fit in my bag when attached, but all manufactures grips are about the same size so This one by DSTE is for my money the best one available.

Big fan. Love the grip and the ability to use AA batteries in a pinch, remote works. Feels good. Only downside (more on my cameras side being it's a d5500 not an FX) is that using the back focus can be difficult.
