I purchased these and had to return them. These are only for DT Swiss 350 hubs, they will not work for the 240S hubs. Unfortunately the DT Swiss website isn’t much help in trying to figure out which end caps fit each hub.

I received the 5mm quick release adapters, not the 12mm thru axle version that is shown in the photo.

Sent me a 20mm adapter instead of a 12mm one. It also had plier marks on it like someone took it off a bike before.

Bought a set of road wheels with 15x100 front axle. My Trek Domane is 12x100. This was the perfect solution.

These also work for DT Swiss Spline R24db wheels.

They worked as expected. Easy to install with an axle vice.

These are so much better than the old standard end caps that just kinda stuck in the end of the hub body. These are harder to install, and I found I was having an issue starting the cap into the bearing, but someone showed me the way. There isn't much instruction on how to use these, so here goes: I used a long socket and a medium extension to insert in the existing cap on a 350 front hub. Placing the hub on the workbench, I then pushed down on the extension (make sure you don't insert the socket into the spacer inside of the existing endcap!) and it popped the lock ring off, and the end cap came off too.THEN: Take the appropriate end cap and very carefully insert it into the bearing inner race. It will fit, but be tight, and in my case got hung up on the bearing race because it was slightly crooked. Once you get it started, push hard, and it will slide in. Make sure that the outer 'hip' of the end cap is just inside, or flush with the end of the hub body. You will not need the lock ring, or old end cap, but save it because you never know when you might need it.Good luck, and keep the rubber side down! Ride safe...
