This stoves works so much better than I expected. I've read reviews from folks that said they have used one for years. Or they grew up w one. But I wondered how it would work for me. Also, I planned on using propane because I just got some refillable 1 pound tanks. I was going to cook a roast last weekend and the recipe called for browning some onions and garlic. I Hate the way that makes my house smell for days! So I set this stove up outside on the front porch. It a raining also, so that's the only covered place that I had. I ended up using it to brown the onions and garlic, searing the meat on all sides and cooking the rest of the veggies going into the pot. I real like it! At camp, I use a Colman propane stove. I like it okay, but the burners are small and they create a small but very hot spot on the bottom of the pot or pan. This stove has a large hot spit which makes it easier to cook on without burning things. My collage age daughter liked the stove so much that she talked me into letting her use it on a spring break camping trip this week, and she's hinting that she sure could use a back up stove in her apartment in case the power goes out. She has electric cooking, so that's a real concern now days all over the country.

I got this stove to use for outdoor cooking since I don't like cooking inside my RV. Having the ability to use propane or butane is really nice. The windshield is a little shallow so if you have stiff winds (like near the coast) it can still have an effect but never enough to blow out the flame. One thing to note is that this has its own regulator so if you're wanting to plug into your RV's LP you may need to remove the regulator first.

A Tale of Two Fuels:Camping stoves are a dime a dozen, but finding one that offers true flexibility is a rare gem. I recently put the GASPOWOR Dual Fuel Camping Stove through its paces on a weekend camping trip, and I'm ready to share my thoughts. This stove, as the name suggests, boasts the ability to run on both butane and propane, a feature that instantly piqued my interest. The Pros:Fuel Flexibility: This is the star of the show. Being able to switch between butane and propane is incredibly convenient. Butane is great for warmer weather and produces a consistent flame, while propane shines in colder temperatures and offers a more powerful output. This adaptability makes it suitable for various camping scenarios.Easy Ignition: The built-in piezo ignition system fired up reliably every time, eliminating the need for matches or lighters. This is a huge plus, especially when dealing with windy conditions.Decent Heat Output: Whether using butane or propane, the stove produced a respectable amount of heat. It boiled water quickly and cooked meals evenly. The adjustable flame control allowed for precise temperature management.Compact and Portable: it's reasonably compact and easy to pack. The included carrying case is a nice touch, protecting the stove during transport. The Propane adapter stores inside the space where the butane cartridge goes. The Cons:Wind Sensitivity: Like many single-burner stoves, this one can be affected by wind. A windscreen is highly recommended, especially in exposed areas.Fuel Consumption: Depending on the heat setting and weather conditions, fuel consumption can be relatively high. Carrying extra canisters is always a good idea. The good news is that you can use either type of fuel incase your friends or neighbors have one or the other when you run out, you can borrow one.Pot Stability: While the grate is sturdy, very large or unevenly weighted pots can feel a little unstable. Be mindful of pot placement.Overall:The Dual Fuel Camping Stove is a solid choice for campers seeking versatility and convenience. The ability to switch between butane and propane makes it a valuable asset for various camping adventures. While it has a few minor drawbacks, such as wind sensitivity and fuel consumption, the pros far outweigh the cons.Who is this stove for?Campers who want flexibility in fuel options. Those who camp in varying weather conditions.Individuals who value easy ignition and portability.People who want a reasonably powerful single burner stove.Who might want to look elsewhere?Backpackers looking for the absolute lightest stove.People who primarily camp in very windy locations without the use of a wind screen. If you're looking for a reliable and adaptable camping stove, the Dual Fuel Camping Stove is definitely worth considering. Just remember to pack a windscreen and extra fuel, and you'll be cooking up delicious meals in no time.

We took it on a camping trip and the metal plate where the gas comes out completely warped. We only ever used the low setting on the flame. Not sure how you can have a gas stove with parts that can melt. It’s past the 30 days window so I guess we’re out of luck.

Dual Fuel Camp Stove with Windblocker, 10,000 BTU Butane Propane Stove, Automatic Ignition, Portable Propane Burner with Propane Adapter Carrying Case for Hiking (Fuel Not Included) review. You can easily buy the small propane tanks at Walmart or Dicks and they are fairly cheap. They last for a good amount of time and some come in 2 packs.Easy to set up out of the box. Love having this in my RV to cook, easier cleanup then using the Blackstone flat top grill.
