What a cute idea! The ducky is pretty well made and does successfully dispel treats when the lever's pressed. I've found that I have to hold the ducky while my dog presses for treats; otherwise, it would flip over. I don't see that as a negative as it's a fun game to do together. The treats dispel from the dome by being spun around. My dog is able to get all the treats out! While it spins fast to give the impression that they "fly" out, most really land within inches of the opening. It's another fun part of using it that dogs get to sniff around for the treats.Quality construction and a little something different to stimulate your dog. Definitely added to our repertoire!

We love the little rubber ducky design and it is very nice quality. It is a good size for my 22lb cavapoo. It duck part of the surface feels soft to the touch with nice bright yellow and orange colors. It has 3 clear domes that have holes of various sizes for making this multi-treat functional. The mechanism that shoots the treat out works well, there has been no sticking or jamming. It was easy to set up and use and for the price is it a nice toy.I'm taking away one star because it can be a bit noisy. Initially the noise was scary to my dog. For the first several days he would run every time we pushed the lever. Now a few weeks in, he no longer runs and is more curious, but he still refuses to touch the lever. This has made learning challenging for him. Just this morning he has started pawing the dome. If I push the lever very softly he will stay close, so I'm hoping it won't be long before he will attempt the lever.Although a soft slow push eliminates some of the noise, it is harder to get the treats to pop out unless the dome is at least 1/3 full.

My dog likes this toy, but it just doesn’t throw the tree as good as I thought it was gonna throw them

I really like the concept of this treat dispenser and its cuteness, but it falls short on execution. The duck itself needs more grippy feet, otherwise as your pet tries to push down the lever, it travels across the floor. Maybe it would be okay in a carpeted floor, but I only have hardwood. I will get some stick-on silicone feet and see if that keeps it from moving. The lever itself is way too stiff for a pet. They just aren’t as coordinated as humans, obviously. They bring down their paws without the same finesse as humans, and that causes the duck to either overturn, or sends it sliding (because of the earlier mentioned slippery issue). Or, as with my smaller-medium size pets (11 lbs each), they just didn’t have enough strength to push all the way down consistently. It was frustrating for them to end up shoving the entire duck away, flip it sideways, or do a half spin that didn’t yield any treats. Unless the treat bin was filled with a lot of treats, the snacks wouldn’t come out consistently. Also, it’s not easy to snap the clear dome on once it’s full of treats. Overall, it’s a bust in our household.

I have 2 Cocker Spaniels and they love this duck! One will push down on the tail and the other will catch the treats. They are so funny to watch. It only took them about three minutes to catch on how to operate it. The only reason that I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I believe it needs a suction cup so it can be attached to the floor. My Maverick will pick it up by the tail and walk off with it. Gator will smack it like a regular treat dispenser and send it rolling across the room. It’s just the right size for these two fur babies and it’s easy to fill with small treats or small kibble. Also adorable.

This treat dispenser is pretty well made. Solid plastic. The handle operates very smoothly and easily and has a soft return to position. It includes domes with different size hole options for different size treats. It is also stable.I saw it advertised for cats and so tried it with my cats. I think it could work with some cats but this really is probably more suited to dogs due to the height of the lever. All I managed was to get one cat to push on the dome because she saw the treats in there. The noise also put them off.But for a dog, the lever makes more sense with the angle and height. The treats also often shoot out instead of drop out which is an attention getter. They do not always come out which I am not sure will help with training an animal new to this.It is worth a try if you think your dog can work this sort of thing.

I got this little dispensing toy for my dog and he loves it. He’s still trying to figure out how it works and how to press the lever to get the treats out, but he’s getting better at it every day. What’s even more entertaining is watching my cats watch him . They are waiting for him to figure it out so they can get a treat for themselves. It’s like a daily event now in the house to see if he’s gonna solve the puzzle! The toy is really well made, and it comes with three clear bubble tops that you can interchange depending on what type of treat you aren’t using. They each have a different size hole for the treat to come out of. I think it’s a great interactive toy and it certainly keeping not only my dog, but my cats entertained. I would highly recommend this.

The Duck Treat Dispenser is a fun and engaging way to slow down mealtime for our dog. The cute duck design really catches his attention, and the press-to-activate feature, where he presses the tail to release snacks, works well for keeping him entertained. It also helps him eat more slowly, which is great since he tends to gulp down his food. However, while our dog figured it out pretty quickly, I don't think many will have the same success right away—especially if your dog isn't as quick to catch on. The biggest issue is that the dispenser is way too lightweight. It falls over easily, which makes it less practical for extended use. Securing it to the floor or adding a heavier base would greatly improve its stability and usability.Overall, it's a fun concept, but with some adjustments to its weight and stability, it could be a lot better for everyday use. Still, it’s a good interactive toy for keeping dogs mentally stimulated during mealtime!
