These are wooden and made good. They are pretty small, so they are easy for babies to handle.

Only 4 stars because it is advertised for babies too young.My baby is 6 months old and will hit himself in the face with it aggressively because he’s looking to soothe his first teeth cutting in… and that’s pretty much his reaction with all toys these days. This is a bit too hard/unsafe so I’m teaching baby to use it with my supervision, rather than returning the item.Hopefully I’ll remember to update this review with the actual age that he starts to be able to play with the toy without close supervision.Otherwise, this is smaller than expected but will be perfect size when baby is ready to play with it. Super cute and looks durable.

The quality of the wood is really good. It feels firm and solid. No worries about the little balls coming out.

These broke within a couple weeks. Very small pieces and baby could have easily choked on them. Do not recommend.

I bought this as a baby showe gift and also kept one for my toddler. I love the colors and it is very durable. I really like gifting Montessori inspired toys like this.

A good toy for 2-3 months. Eventually two of them fall apart luckily while I’m watching because these tiny balls inside are definitely a choking hazard. If your baby isn’t banging the toy around though as much as mine maybe it won’t break as fast.
