The tires themselves look great but when I took them I to the shop to install on my bike they said because the tires are over 5 years old they could not do anything with them. Must just be a liability issue because the tires have no signs of aging at all.

Put these on my 2007 Vulcan Classic. Have driven 1,200 miles so far on them. Tire tread still looks like the day I got them. My bike has a 600 pound curb weight. So far all is good. Will update when its time to change them and give a full experience review. These are great for metric bikes.

It’s a Dunlop tire that is stock for my Yamaha Road Star. It’s a nice tire, was delivered quickly, and looks great on my bike. I can feel the difference in grip already. I don’t know how long it will last, I don’t ride my motorcycle every day. But I’m sure it will be as good as any other tire. I recommend this tire.

I've purchased this particular Dunlop tire for the front tire for my 2008 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Classic. I've used this tire for the last 3 full size Harley Davidson touring bikes I've owned. In the past I had put a Continental tire on the front and a Metzner brand for the rear tire. The Continental on the front was fine on straight aways but was not as good on cornering. Especially when compared to the Dunlop. When I had the Metzner tire on the rear I always felt like I was riding on a sheet of ice. When I would have to come to a sudden stop even with a ABS braking system I would slide or skid when trying to stop. In the rain I really had to be especially careful while the Metzner tire was on the rear. The Metzner tire was horrible as far as traction. I kept the tire pressure on the low side to try to help. Even when taking off with a pack of other bikes it would easily break loose if I overpowered at all. It didn't matter much what tire pressure I had in it. There's only one possotive thing that I can say about the Metzner tire. The Metzner was so hard it lasted for many more miles then any other would have lasted.I was glad when the tread finally wore out on that Metzner tire.I went back to Dunlop for the rear tire.I had also tried Yokohama tires. They performed like you would think an inexpensive tire would. Which was still much better than the Metzner tire but not as good as the Dunlops performed. The Yokohama tire had poor traction on the rear. Also poor handling ability as a front tire. So for my full size Harley Davidson I'll stay with Dunlop. I think that they handle the best for this application and grip the road very well on these full size heavy bikes. There's only one negative thing that I can say about using the Dunlop tires. It's that I think the tread wears out quicker than other brands. I think you get less mileage from them but it's worth it for the overall handling, traction and cornering ability. I think one reason that the tread wears off faster then other brands is because it has a softer sidewall and tread than most others do. I think that's one of the reasons that it's able to grip the road so well. Also I think the tread pattern is designed perfect for these big heavy Harleys even in heavy rains. The end result is that I think the Dunlops are the best all around tires for most Harleys.
