Really digging the wood finish. Gifted to my partner and it looks great perched upon the guitar!

I got this capo as a replacement for one that lost its gripping power after several years of constant usage. The capo performs flawlessly, without fail. The handle on it makes it exceptionally easy to grasp and control. Great product!

Really good capo. Strong grip, works with 12 string guitar perfectly. The rubber part is straight, no curve like the ones for electric guitar. Works pretty well too with classical nylon-string spanish guitar.

It's a bit stiff and hard to use, but it gets the job done nicely. So far it doesn't seem to be marring my mahogany guitars finish, which is very important. It works well on both my acoustic and electric, even though it says its made for acoustic.

Very good guitar capo. The spring is a little stiff which makes it difficult sometimes to apply on the neck of the guitar. Once in place, it works just fine.

I've been using Kyser and Shubb style banjo capos for almost 30 years. When I saw this capo, I immediately liked how it wasn't as visible from the front, yet was still a quick change like the Kyser. After messing around with it in my band, I found that it's easy to bump the capo with your hand while playing it. It gets in the way of your playing and can change the tuning. It does hold a steady, even pressure across the strings. Never had any buzzing issues.

This is for the I use this for a ukulele, and it is a decent capo. It works. I park it on the headstock of my ukulele, and it is easy to add, move, remove. With the trigger-type release, it makes it one of the easiest quick-change capos I've used. It feels sturdy enough (lightweight aluminum). My only complaint is how the trigger part is underneath the neck, which gets in the way with some chords (E7 or F#m) but not a tremendous burden. Also, the padding that goes against the back of the neck seems a bit hard for a relatively new capo. With my other uke capo, a , the trigger portion sticks upwards, and never gets in the way. However, the Dunlop is eligible for Amazon Prime, whereas the Kyser is not.For the price and quality, this Dunlop Banjo capo works. Highly recommended.Oh, and Amazon.com, please change the Product Description for this item.

Purchased for use on my two guitars (acoustic and electric), probably long after I should have gotten a capo.PROS:* Functional - gets the job done effectively with varying neck widths* Aesthetics - I got the black version, which does a good job of not standing out on my black bodied guitars. I can tag it to the head and it can plausibly go unnoticed if I never reach for it.* Strength - capo has handled light through medium-heavy steel strings well after repeated use (months). I've seen complaints that this and other capos are "too tight," but would you prefer the alternative of "too soft" and have a paperweight instead?* Economy - this felt in the short and long term like a worthwhile purchase for the cost.CONS:* Does not play my guitar for me? Honestly I can't think of any real cons!
