All I can say is YES!! I’ve just recently got back into playing . I’ve always used slinky but lately I’ve trying different products. I must say I love these strings! Really chunky, good highs , nice harmonics, just all around good strings! Think It will be a while before I try something new.

I bought these for one of my neck thru Superstrats with 25" scale which I use only at Eb or occasionally Drop Db. If you are familiar with neck thrus, you know why heavy bands love them----they can take massive amounts of gain without losing clarity. However, they are also naturally bass shy compared to set neck or even bolt-on designs of similar weight. I had long used 10-46 for this particular guitar, and was even considering trying 11s to beef it up, but tried these 10-48 strings instead. This is the answer for me! There was only a slight increase in tension, but the feel and sound of the guitar was transformed. It's very brawny now; best tone this guitar has ever had in the 25+ years I've owned it. It's as if part of the soul of a Les Paul was injected into it, which is one of the main things I look for in a Superstrat. You can pummel the Low E until you are blue in the face, and it will fight you back! These also have excellent tuning stability and PLENTY of bite. Also transformed my ESP Viper (SG) into more of a crunch machine that it already was.I definitely prefer these over standard Dunlop nickel wound strings for shorter scale guitars. I have no doubt the extra tension would be especially useful for those who tune much lower than standard. I personally wouldn't use these for a 25.5" scale guitar at standard tuning, but they are killer for Eb and lower.

I put these on my drop D tuned Floyd Rose bridge/locking nut guitar I use for all metal and heavy rock. One word for them is flawless. They felt great out of the box, shredding is easy and they have a nice "dry" feel I guess you could say. Meaning precision is easy to perform and you don't feel like you have clumsy fingers. The sound is wonderful over my Seymour Duncan pickups. Get these strings.
