Worked good for late winter storms to keep calves warm and dry. Some of them did rip and buckles broke when trying to catch calves to take them off once it warmed up.

I really like these coats. Unfortunately i bought them for goats and they like them too. They are obviously delicious. The goats won't wear them. They eat them off of each other. They are big girls 125 to 150 pounds, big alpine Dairy goats. I've mended them and passed them on to a friend with calves. The work great on the calves. I guess my girls will have to go without coats in cold weather. they would rather be cold than wear a coat.They don't seem to mind the cold it as much as i do for them. Recommend for calves NOT goats.

We ordered these right before we got snow and sub zero temperatures followed by freezing rain. Our calves would have died if we didn’t put these coats on them. They are a little big if you have small calves but they still worked great for what we needed. Buying another set to have on hand for the next winter blast.
