Some little knowledge about batteries:
1.In the case of long-term use or improper maintenance of the battery, its metal contacts will be oxidized. It will cause the phone to automatically shut down or disconnect during a call. It is recommended to wipe the contacts clean before use
2.Inferior chargers and improper charging time methods will affect the standby time and battery life.
3.If the battery is fully charged and left unused, it will cause natural loss of power and reduce battery life. If you need to store the battery for a long time, please use the photoelectric energy to save it.
4.The ambient temperature has a great influence on the battery capacity and use time. The ionized energy released by the battery at low temperature is much less than that at normal temperature. Therefore, when using mobile phones outdoors in the north in winter, the standby time will be much shorter. Low temperature discharge is small, high temperature discharge is large, high temperature will also affect the standby time.
5.It is recommended to use the original charger or a reliable charger to charge the battery.

Excellent easy to change with tools provided watched video on YouTube. Hardest part was the tape holding the old battery in place but understandable too about 30 minutes but being very careful

My much cherished Blackberry Key2 LE battery was failing and refusing to hold a charge. As getting a new Blackberry is nearly impossible I tried this battery. I found a couple Youtube videos on how to replace a battery in this model and studied them. Then played one of them back while replacing the battery.Be warned there are NO Instructions that come with the battery. (comments on the kit below)The battery fits and works great. It's been 3 weeks I am back to getting about 2 days on the battery. I've downloaded a battery minder app to help keep the battery from charging/overheating to far.The kit comes with battery, screwdrivers, thin plastic case prying devices, double sticktape, and a suction cup. I brought a hair dryer to soften the glue, task lights, a couple small cups to hold the screws, a head mounted magnifier and white kitchen towel to lay on top of my worksurface so things didn't roll away.I could have used a small PLASTIC set of tweezers for the battery connectors.The video I found was pretty accurate but did not go through attaching the tiny connectors or reinserting the contacts for the switches, which I had to unscrew everything again to be able to reach the connectors.Once I got them snapped in and the switch contacts aligned I tested the battery by turning on the phone. SUCCESS. So happy to see the Blackberry awake again!I'm slightly handy but know nothing about small electronics. This took me just over an hour. Someone who is more experienced could probably have this done in under 15 minutes.
