Had to buy two sets to chase threads on lugs one wore out after 6 lugs.Recommend getting a heavy duty die to chase threads versus these or keep in mind this tools dulls after a few uses on hardened grade studs/fasteners.

Most of the spindle nuts are single use, they leave material on the spindle shaft that helps them stay put. But, when you try to thread a new nut on, and have not cleaned the threads, you already start with a damaged nut, and in turn, starts to do damage to the spindle threads too

Don't know if this product is going to work for rethreading my axle stud, because apparently inspectors would cost too much to verify that the proper parts are included. Doesn't give me much hope for their quality. Ordered this one because it was available overnight, but now its costing me extra time.

Thought I was going to have to change out the spindle. Threads were bad. This cleaned it right up.
