The half-circle design looks promising, but the actual performance falls short of expectations. I would hesitate to recommend this to anyone serious about firewood storage. This firewood rack was an excellent addition to our cabin, where we have fireplaces on all three floors. Its sleek half-circle design is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The size is perfect for holding a generous amount of firewood, and the sturdy metal construction ensures it can handle the weight without issue.One feature I especially appreciate is how easy it is to assemble—no tools required! The portability and lightweight design allowed us to move it effortlessly, even placing it under covered outdoor spaces when needed. Despite the top half simply resting on the base rather than being fastened, it remains stable once filled with logs.The open design allows for great air circulation, helping to keep the wood dry, and its compact size is a good space-saving solution without compromising on capacity. If you like your firewood to run away from you or take whimsical sliding, swaying rides just for fun, this is the firewood rack for you.The half-circle of the corrugated metal boat (which is put together in multiple pieces with little wing-nuts) simply and delicately rests upon this little (nylon? plastic?) stand with four little nubbies that stick up and hold the entire mess in place.What you end up with is that, as you load or unload your firewood rack, your firewood gets to go on a carnival ride!!We heat exclusively with firewood, and are in the season where we are using this daily. It is... a ride... to use!Also, it feels a little flimsy. My husband is a machinist and he says it really isn't flimsy, it just feels that way while its sliding around being goofy.The PROBLEM is that the base is not affixed to the boat hoop AT ALL, so as soon as you start loading firewood onto the thing, it starts this crazy wibble wobble sliding back and forth balancing itself out!!

We have a wood fireplace that we use often, but the location doesn't allow wall space for wood holders. I was hoping this one might work, but while it didn't make the cut for inside, it's the perfect size for under the covered porch for easy access.While it didn't come with any instructions printed out, I was able to look them up in the product listing. It was very easy to put together and needed zero tools (yay!!). You can see that while it's very lightweight, it holds up under a fair amount of weight with the wood. The half circle is not attached at all to the base, but it really doesn't slide around once you have wood in it. The shape allows air to get through the wood so anything that might be wet can still dry on your porch. The price was a good one for something so easy to put together and use. Very glad to have this as we start getting into weather.

Easy to put together and it has a slick, shiny coat of black paint. Good size. Not huge but not too small either.The half circle sits on top of the base, no screws or anything. Top side of the curve comes to my knee (I’m 5’3”). It’s decorative and feels pretty sturdy. I am going to put this under my carport. I have no idea how long this will hold up and if you were to put this so it is exposed more to the elements I'm sure it would not last as long, which is the case for anything. If you are looking for something long-term that will sit out in the rain, snow, sun, wind maybe build something out of wood. I add that caveat because I know someone is going to buy it and put it out in the snow and then complain and give it 1 star when it breaks.

This is basically corrugated pipe cut up for shipping. It holds an okay amount of wood, but slips around on the base. The wing nuts are a strange choice, but work okay. overall, just doesn't really have enough style or ruggedness to justify the asking price. This same unit is available from lots of vendors.
