I have a house with a 1.5 inch step up into the garage- of course, I didn't see it, stubbed my toe and fell flat on my face when I was carrying groceries. There is no way to fix that step (or the unmarked one that goes down from the back door onto the garage floor that is also unexpected), so I looked for something to mark it with. Putting a light wouldn't have helped. These floor tape markers are fantastic- I got these corner markers to use on the concrete and so far, so good. I hope they hold up, but it you have an unexpected step somewhere, these might work to keep you or your family members from falling!
