The cap is solidly made. The pipes are very long and also solid. You need to do some bending to fit it on the chimney top as it is just a flat piece. I bought clamps to attach around on top. This was expected and what was required for the other fireplace I installed years ago. The clamps for the stove end were just what was needed

The product arrived damaged but I was able to use some galvanized tek screws to reattach two mounts that had the existing rivets pulled out. The bigger issue was the fact that the 4 stainless steel hose clamps that are used to secure the flex pipe to the high wind cap and the gas fireplace insert were the wrong size. The ones included were for 4 inch flex when they should have been for 3 inch flex. I had to run out to the local home depot and spend an additional $15 for the correct size stainless steel hose clamps.

Received the kit sooner than expected. It made everything a lot easier. No trying to figure out what and where your going to get everything.
