Started rusting from the screw areas almost immediately. Totally rusted and paint flaked after one year. Looked like an embarrassing disaster after two years.

These feel really heavy duty and once they are on don't move at all. However, it took several hours for two experienced people to put them on! The bolts didn't align exactly with the holes. Some of the studs weren't quite aligned and we had to try and bend the brackets just enough to get them through the holes on the JT. I was aware I would need to drill out the front hole, but I also needed to drill out one of the rear holes and even then it was a bear to get the thing on and all 8 studs through the holes.

They look nice but are a pain to install. I did it by myself with a floor jack. Took 2 hours. They are about double the weight of factory Rubi rails. However I have my doubts if they will be stronger. I will be keeping my stock rails just in case. I am not an hardcore offroader by any means either.Elongating the bolt holes to make these work is pain. Easier done with a die grinder and carbide bit. By the time you opened them up. The small flat washer provided. Do not provide enough support. I added larger diameter ones in place of them. One side fit easier than the other. The step is not very wide on it. Makes it easier to get in, almost more difficult to get out. Will probably need to ad grip tape to them for wet weather. After the fitment issues. I was wishing I spent an additional 600 for better sliders.I was considering other dv8 products for my Jeep, winch bumper etc. After this I think I will seek out another brands. These come in a large box. Between shipping damage to the box and time you cut it open. The box is trashed. Would have been a big pain to find a new suitable box to return them. The one main positive and the reason for my purchase. These use all four of the factory mounting points. Many only use three of them.Live and learn I guess.

Mine came with gaps in between the panels and it was bent on the top panel on front driver side. Didn’t line up on the driver side but the passenger side did line up cleanly. The powder coat looks to be durable, but I have a Rough Country set, not as good a powder coat, but that was about $100 cheaper and better steel quality.I would have given it 3 stars but there aren’t even directions that come with these. Although it’s simple to figure out, you at least expect to find those in the box.Took about 2 hours to install, and you’ll have to likely drill out the holes better on your rockers to get the bolts to fit.

These rails/steps are very difficult to install because the spacing of the pinch rail bolts is very imprecise and will require at the very least drilling out the holes on the pinch seam. My right side had a dent in the outer rail (shipping or manufacturing?) so the front bracket would not line up even after drilling out all of the holes with a 1/2 inch bit. These rails are very heavy so two people to install are recommended. They look nice if you can get them installed.
