- The DV8 SPJL-01 skid plate protects the exposed sway bar disconnect and factory crash bar.
- The factory crash bar and electronic disconnect (Rubicon model) hang down and are prone to damage by rocks and trail obstacles.
- The DV8 JL skid plate protects these areas and clean up the aesthetics here when installing an aftermarket bumper.
- This skid plate works with all of DV8 Offroad front bumpers for JL Jeep Wranglers.

This took a pro shop 2.5 hours to install... yes.. 2 bolts.... i felt better that it wasn't just me... my son is a licensed aircraft mechanic and son in law fireman... they worked for an hour and a half and couldnt get it on... It does look great when you get it.. (Had to grind some nuts off... )

This was a simple and quick install. It was definitely a little snug but with a some effort and persuasion I had it on in about 25 minutes.

Awesome product, very good quality, measurements are off by about 3/8” on the mounting brackets making it very difficult to install.

Very well built skid plate and a needed addition for an after market bumper. Like all other reviews...VERY TIGHT FIT which is fine with me. Installing on a 2020 Willys JL 4 door.Update: The seller was super responsive and came to a resolution on the skid plate. Customer service is A+. The Skid plate is installed and is super heavy duty.

Awesome product, looks great and should provide ample protection of the sway bar release. Very tight fit, had to remove the attachment plates, but no big deal.

It's pretty strong, heavy, and quality is top notch. I did had some issues installing it. The fit was so tight that I had to shave some of the rivnuts top off just to get it between the front frame. But all in all. I like the way it looks and it'll definitely protect the swaybar disconnect.

This looks amazing and goes on easy with the other brand aftermarket Bumper we out on the JL. Very thick and very Heavy, will defiantly protect the Jeep!
