Needed to replace the Tom arm due to the ball joint on the OEM arm being worn out. I purchased this replacement and discovered the diameter of the arm is thinner than the OEM arm that came with the tom mount. The ball secured perfectly to the stand, but my tom wouldn't mount securely to the arm.I have a DW kit and use DW hardware so not sure why this arm is a slightly smaller diameter than the DW OEM arm..

The standard l arm width was too thick for my Tom mounts. So glad they make these so I could use them with my existing DW hardware! Lifesaver!
