Have you shopped for a replacement hose for your Polaris pool sweep at a local pool supply store? Did you assume that they used actual gold nuggets in the manufacture of the vinyl hose and its parts? What else could justify the hundreds of dollars they want for the OEM parts? Come on, it's a hose and some plastic parts! This kit of parts to replace your outgoing hose to the pool sweep is an excellent quality replacement. All parts look identical (or very close) to the original equipment that came with my Polaris Black Max 280... other than color (white instead of black). I now call it my Biracial Max 280 and it looks great and functions just like the original. Actually, it's a little better than the original because it is a longer hose overall, which lets the unit crawl into areas where the hose was maxed-out previously.I've only had the hose on for a few days at this point, so its longevity can't be determined yet. The sun and pool chemicals do make for a harsh environment, so if this deteriorates quickly I will update this review. However, I do feel that the quality of the hose and parts are at the same level as my original hose, so I'm not too worried about premature failure. The truth is that even if they don't last as long as the original, the price difference will make up for a substantial amount of longevity loss!Definitely recommend.

This is a good quality feeder hose that fits my Pentair Legend cleaner. The Legend has had just about all of the inner parts replaced, but still on the original feeder hose. That hose is no longer flexible and prevents the cleaner from getting into the far corners of the pool. This hose is far more flexible, has a back up valve, inline filter, floats, and swivels- ready to go after trimming to proper length. The one problem I had with my unit was that the pool wall adapter screw-in fitting (the part that screws into the wall fitting and remains there) was jammed onto the hose pressure relief valve (the twist-lock device with the thick O-ring that is attached to the end of the hose). Once I got that free after some serious but delicate manipulation, all was good, and installation was easy after that.

This is as good as a factory made hose from polaris or pentair. I'm using this hose for a kreepy krauly. My old hose was getting sad from sun exposure so it was time to upgrade. The connections are like factory with screw on connectors to hold the hose firmly together. The connectors stay tight to prevent the hoses from leaking or worse popping off. This is a huge upgrade from other aftermarket hoses I've tried. The hose connections are usually the weakest link followed closely by a hose that's too flexible and kinks if you look at sideways. This fit my side connection without taking anything out or swapping parts. The different restrictor plates mean you can tune your machine to run with as much or as little pressure as you like. More pressure means faster cleaner. There were other reviews that mentioned leaving the hose flat out in the sun for a day to get some of the memory out. There is still some memory of the hose being coiled for so long, but it hasn't kinked, so I have no complaints. For $100 this is a bargain. Retail on pentair is ~260. This is about 1/3 the price and close enough in build quality. 10/10 recommend. This is the second aftermarket hose I've tried.

I recently replaced the old, stiff hose on my Polaris pool cleaner with this aftermarket kit, and it has made a huge difference! My cleaner is now able to reach all areas of the pool again without constantly getting tangled. The new hose is much more flexible and feels like really good quality, very similar to the original but at a significantly lower price. The kit is great because it comes complete with all the necessary inline parts like the filter, swivels, and floats, so you have everything you need to refresh the entire hose line. Installation was straightforward – I just unscrewed the old sections and screwed in the new ones. A helpful tip: you'll need to manually tighten the nuts onto the hose sections as they are self-threading, and letting the coiled hose straighten out in the sun beforehand can help.Overall, I'm very pleased with this replacement hose. It fit my cleaner perfectly, seems durable, and has brought my pool sweep back to life. It's excellent value compared to buying an OEM hose or a new cleaner.

It had been 10 years since I had replaced my hose or Polaris 250 pool vacuum. We have a 20k gallon pool. The hose had become very stiff and was constantly getting tangled. The new hose has made a huge difference and now the vacuum gets to all areas of the pool.I did the installation myself. I stretched out the old and the new hose side by side. I cut the new hose to be the same length as my previous hose. One thing to note: The Dwale hose needs each of the nuts tightened. They purposely were untightened to allow you remove sections as needed. The hose is self-threading, so just turn the nuts to dig into the hose. The quick disconnect popped out. I noticed it when my pool vacuum was not moving throughout the pool. The fix was minor, just a reinsertion.I have been very happy with the Dwale hose replacement and recommend it as a good solution for a worn-out hose.
