Excellent as an edging plant or tucked into rocks for a pleasing contrast. Striking in mass plantings in the landscape. Evergreen. This perennial evergreen grass is dense with dark green foliage. Its slow and clumping growth habit reaches only 4-6 inches tall(4-6 inches wide). This ornamental grass is widely used in rock gardens, seashore plantings, borders and groundcovers. This low-maintenance evergreen needs a regular water schedule to ensure the growth of a mature root system. After the mature root system is established, watering is needed occasionally, except during a drought, watering is needed regularly. Pruning old foliage is recommended to maintain a well-groomed appearance. Dwarf mondo grass is similar in appearance to a ground cover commonly called Lilyturf (Liriope muscari), but has thinner leaves and a finer texture. Creates a lush groundcover of dense, dark green grass-like clumps. This dwarf is only half the size of the regular species. Excellent as an edging plant or tucked into rocks for a pleasing contrast.

The plants all arrived very healthy. Have been in the ground now how 2 weeks and all are growing and thriving in the yard. A bit expensive? But maybe not for how healthy they are? Packed well , but take a bit of care removing from the foam glue. Will make sense when they arrive.

Buyer beware, this seller is leading you to believe that you are purchasing the normal size container. I have a 3,000 sq ft garden of Dwarf Mondo grass, so I have purchased a lot of it over the years. First of all, these are plugs not plants. The packaging is horrible. It is difficult to work with, metal staples and cardboard. There is way more packaging than product in the box. Don't waste your money.

I ordered 80 plants first. Each plant was heathy and full. I was very happy with the order. Then I ordered 120 more plants because I needed more. The second order was awful. We paid over $300 for plants that were extremely underdeveloped. Many of the plugs were without soil and the roots were dried out. In addition we were shorted 10 plants. I have provided pictures of each order. I would not do business with this company again.

The package came with special interior so that the plants would not get damaged and they would also get some water. Very easy to plant. Hopefully they're making it in my backyard. I would certainly recommend again.

Our backyard is shaded most of the day due to large trees, so it has been a big patch of dirt for several years. We’ve tried different types of grass, fertilizer, seed, sod, etc… it all died…still dirt. SO as a last ditch effort, I ordered this:My first order arrived on Sept. 17. It was ALL alive and still a beautiful, green. (Yay!!)Planted it, it was still alive about a month later. (Yay again!!)Ordered a second, double batch, and it arrived still looking amazing as well! It is ALL still alive in mid November in Oklahoma!SO HAPPY! 👍👍👍👍
