I've got a couple of feather IKEA duvets (one medium and one light), but was interested in having 2 lighter options for the summer time. This caught my eye because it is an all-season (which is necessary in SE Wyoming in the summer) and it has a decent percentage of silk filling. I threw it in the dryer on low for 10 minutes to fluff it up, but I still had to manipulate it a bit to fully fluff it to fill my duvet cover. So far I've been using it for a week, when night time lows were anywhere from 50-35 and it's been great! It's very lightweight, yet still regulates the temperature very pleasantly.

The cooling is amazing! I fell straight to sleep and felt refreshed when I woke up. The material is buttery soft and silky. I love this!! I put it under my comforter to add more weight to my blankets. It's so cozy. The king size fit my king bed, there's not much over hang maybe about 2 inches per side so I can't tuck it in like I usually do to make my bed. I followed the care instructions on the tag and it did take awhile to dry thoroughly. What matters most is I slept so well, I've never had a comforter cool like this and I'm impressed I love it!

This feel so luxurious. It does have a sheen which I’m not sure how I feel about it. It is super nice and feels great against your skin. The edging trim gives it a great finished look and can be used just like it is or with a duvet cover. The white is a pure white with no yellow casting to it so it looks pure and bright on a bed. I love the look of white for bedding. It gives such a clean refreshing look and so inviting. There is a thickness to this but more like a multiple blanket thickness which is exactly what I was looking for.You can machine wash this as per the instructions but I haven’t tried it yet. I am a little nervous to put it into the washer with it being rayon and some silk inside even though it says you can. I really like this and want this to stay nice. I will update the review once I wash it.

This is not a what I typically think of when I imagine a duvet insert (I picture a thick and fluffy comforter-type blanket that may vary in weight). This is VERY thin, whether you try to fluff it in the dryer as suggested or toss/fluff it. But that’s ok, because there were two purchase options and this was the cooling, light one. When looking at the weight of the two options there is a huge difference between all-season and this one and that is where the thick fill would have been.Now, thickness aside, the material is so soft, it is almost a sateen/silky feel. It is always cool to the touch. Thankfully it is machine washable and has the four elastic tabs in each corner to fasten inside a duvet. But if you would want to use this as a summer blanket on its own, it has a classy silver trim lining the edges and looks great quality overall. I’m really pleased with this!

I waited a bit to review this duvet insert because I wanted to wash it, dry it, and actually use it for a while to give an honest review.This is the best duvet insert I've ever owned. It is lightweight, but still super warm. Plus, it's really soft and just the right size for our bed. Love it!
