This is done to reduce fading and the any ability to sand through the color. This dying process is done in Italy. These dyed veneers could be any of the following: Maple, Birch, Poplar, Tay, Koto or any American white wood.These vibrant colors add quite a bit to your project without extensive finishing experience. This is my first time using this veneer so far I like it. I use it as accent lines doing segmented wood turning. I would recommend this veneer to anyone doing segmented wood turning.
