Good quality tapes worth the price, cheaper alternatives tend to get caught up inside the letra tag at the cutter mechanism, which causes loss of tape.

I received my labels yesterday, and as many have reported, the tape wouldn’t feed. After reading Brea’s review, opening up the cartridge and feeding the tape through was an easy fix. It works perfect now. Thank you Brea for sharing how you fixed yours.

Like many others have experienced, one of the three refills I received was defective. The tape was not advanced and therefore would not work. I found an easy fix. All you need to do is carefully pry off the top and pull the tape through, then snap the top back on. I used a precision screwdriver and worked my way around the top carefully so as not to break anything. Once the top was off, I used needle nose pliers to pull the tape through the end. I popped the top back on and tried it in my label maker and it works just fine! See the attached pictures.As far as the labels themselves go, they are great! I use them to label many things around the house. They stick really well and look professional. My current project is using them for my garden labels. I use the clear plastic labels and so far they have held up well to sun and rain. I was tired of using markers that claimed to be waterproof, but would wash off or wear off before the season was done. I will come back at the end of this growing season and update my review to reflect how well they fared. I would not hesitate to purchase these again.
