-This kit fit well, although I had already replaced the muffler once, so I did not use the flange bracket as that part had already been removed from the engine side of my exhaust system. With the Jeep on ramps, I still had to use a farm jack on the hitch to lift the body a few more inches to fit in the pipe, but removing the right rear wheel may have worked as well.-The tip does not point down as much as the factory pipe, so there may be issues with the plastic bumper in the future, but for the last week everything has been fine.-The welded muffler appears much more durable than the cheap Dynomax replacement muffler I had previously, which lasted about 3-years in the rust-belt south of Detroit. My Jeep seems to have more power and idles smoother than with the other muffler, even after it rotted out.-As for the sound, this muffler is just a straight, perforated pipe through an oval shaped, oversize "glass pack", so the exhaust note is definitely audible. It has a nice growl between 3500 and 4500 RPM while under load, above and below is smoother to a softer, less noticeable sound. While on the expressway, with the windows closed, the exhaust sound is audible, but not loud.

Perfect fit, easy to install and line up. Just remember to pick up two M10 steel nuts (electro-galvanized is fine) from the hardware store. I thought I would need SS nuts considering it is an SS exhaust assembly and I didn’t want galvanic corrosion, but it turns out the flange studs are also just steel...

This Dynomax cat-back is a perfect fit, and is an easy job if you're a DIYer. My son and I removed the OEM rusted exhaust and had this one installed in just a few hours working in the driveway with ramps and jackstands. I'm very happy with the fit and finish of this system, and it sounds great. The Dynomax Ultra-Flo muffler that comes with the kit is definitely louder than stock, but not obnoxious at all, and there's no drone cruising at highway speeds. This definitely gets a 5-star review!

I was going to install the system myself but because the weather was so cold I took it to a Mechanic friend who has his own business. I'm really glad I did because the unit was not an exact fit. My friend had to heat the Y-pipe in a couple of places so that he could bend it and make it connect properly. Also the unit did not come gaskets as I thought it would so i had to spend another $45 to get them. Other than that the system looks good and my wife really loves the sound of it.

Kit came with all required hardware in package. Great sound. Easy to install. Stainless tip looks great. Even came with a sticker!

Very easy installation, took about 30 minutes, most of which was waiting for the penetrating oil to free the old nuts so that I could remove the damaged system. The only installation issue was the clamp not sealing the pipe completely on the exit (the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars), but that is what a welder is for.The tone of the exhaust is deep on idle and loud enough to upset the neighbors on acceleration.As always, Amazon lived up to all expectations.
